Where dreams
of bright lights and stardom begin, Hollywood is the legendary
town where fame and aspirations of grandeur are realized. The
Hollywood Hills have been home to legends, and still continues
to be the choice of many of the famous, as well as the anonymous.
Frank Lloyd Wright once said, "No house should ever be on
a hill or on anything. It should be of the hill. Belonging to
it. Hill and house should live together each the happier for the
other." Many of the houses, and various edifices in these
hills, reflect their owners, individual, yet distinctive styles.
People who have chosen these locations, really enjoy the spectacular
views of the city of Angels.
Within these beautiful hills, is the famous Hollywood sign, a
part of the city's largest park, Griffith Park. Griffith Park
is a favorite location for outdoor lovers, as well as families.
It is equipped with tennis courts, golf course, playgrounds, and
the carousel. Southwest of these hills lay the famed Hollywood
Bowl, Mann's Chinese Theater, the restored Roosevelt Hotel, as
well as the future home of the Oscars.
In the midst of these hills, are small quaint communities, where
the intimate feeling is captured. One such community is the Beachwood
Canyon/Bronson Canyon community. On any given night, the street
of Franklin, is bustling with people enjoying dinner, taking a
stroll, shopping or grabbing a cappuccino. People are "locals,"
often greeting each other on the street, as they move through
their busy lives.
These hills are a logical location for many in the entertainment
industry, or for those affiliated with the industry. With it's
close proximity to the major freeways, downtown is just minutes
away, while still situated near neighboring Studio City, West
Hollywood, Beverly Hills, as well as Los Feliz, which makes it
a natural choice for accessibility.
